The world continues to reflect this week on the life and ministry of evangelist Billy Graham as funeral services are conducted for him. Graham became the first major religious figure in American history to lie in state at the capitol rotunda, a distinction which underscores the continuing impact of Graham on American religion and culture. A veritable treasure trove of reflections, both popular and academic, have flooded various media outlets. I add here some links to my own humble contributions to that collection.
Dordt College’s In All Things published my article Peace with Graham
Perspective’s blog The Twelve gave me and opportunity to contribute some thoughts on The Graham Paradox
Finally, I was quote in Holly Meyer’s excellent USA Today story How Evangelical Christianity Is Different Now Than in Billy Graham’s Heyday
Hope these articles contribute something to your own reflections on both the positive and negative lessons Billy Graham taught us.
